Before we climb into the canopy, let's talk about the journey to our treetop retreat. The drive to Index, Washington, is a picturesque adventure in itself. Wind your way through towering forests, alongside babbling rivers, and catch glimpses of the majestic peaks that surround this magical little town.
Arriving at the Treehouse A-Frame Cabin:
I refrain from sharing any specific arrival instructions when it comes to Airbnbs for safety reasons, but the owners will send detailed instructions upon your arrival. Google Maps got me there just fine! Pull through the gate to find this modern a-frame in the trees, And there it is, nestled among the tall trees—the Treeframe Cabin.
Take a moment to breathe in the fresh forest air. It’s magical.
Inside the Treeframe Cabin:
The interior of the Treeframe Cabin is a blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. The cozy living area invites you to kick off your hiking boots and sink into a plush sofa, surrounded by natural wood accents.
A well-equipped kitchenette offers all the essentials for whipping up a tasty outdoor-inspired meal, while the dining area provides a cozy spot to savor your culinary creations. And let's not forget the pièce de résistance—the bedroom loft, accessible by a charming wooden ladder that slides on a rail to make the space your own. It’s such a cozy nook where you can drift off to sleep while feeling the gentle sway of the trees. Skylights with tree views make waking up extra special.
Now that you're settled in your treetop oasis, it's time to unleash your inner adventurer and experience all that this magical setting has to offer. Put on your sturdy hiking boots, grab your binoculars, and get ready to explore the wilderness that surrounds the Treeframe Cabin.
Step out onto the deck, which serves as your very own observation post. Take in the breathtaking views of the dense forest, where you might catch a glimpse of a playful squirrel or a majestic eagle soaring through the sky. Keep your eyes peeled for hidden trails that lead to secret spots just waiting to be discovered.
Walk across the property to the river (all of the homes after you enter the gate belong to Index Cabins, so make yourself at home but respect other renters!), and go for a cold plunge! There’s a hot tub at the cabin to warm up in after :)
How to Book:
Book directly with Index Cabins to save a little on the fees! They ask for different fees than Airbnb and the end result seems to be a bit cheaper than booking on Airbnb.
